Overview/description

.......what is this core competency referring to? Describe how it links in with the Digiteen Area of Awareness

Virtual Worlds is referring to your online world, like Facebook or other social networks that you use often. Virtual Worlds is also about being responsible about what you say or do. Virtual Worlds links to Individual Awareness because you need to be responsible when you are online and by yourself.

Examples

.....Provide real examples from your school, country or from your research of how this norm and the Digiteen element impact on each other. These can be in the form of an image with text, a podcast, a short video, interviews etc.

When you are online and chatting with someone you need to ask yourself if you would say whatever you are typing to the person's face. You also need to remember that whatever you do online shows your actual character. Don't go too far, sometimes your entire life could be ruined by one mistake you made. The last thing you should do, is do what you think is right, and don't fall under peer pressure.[1]
